Improper use of granite saw blades will affect the quality of processing and service life, there are five common failure of granite saw blades: granite saw blades can not be cut, saw blade overheating, cutting head off, cutting head cracking, saw blade matrix cracking. So what are the causes of these failures?
One, granite saw blade can not cut
- The new film has no edge
- Loose main motor belt of mechanical equipment
- The rotation direction of the saw blade is not correct
- Failure to check whether the saw blade specification matches the cutting material
Two, saw blade overheating
- Failure of the water supply system and insufficient water supply
- Excessive mud, poor cooling effect, excessive wear of marble saw blade
Three, knife head off
- The cutting material is not firmly installed, resulting in the distortion or clamping of the saw blade during cutting
- Machine rotation occurs when granite saw blade is cut
- The flange of the saw blade is worn or deformed, and the clamping force of the saw blade decreases, leading to the displacement of the saw blade during cutting
- There are sundries between the flange and the matrix of the saw blade, causing vibration of the saw blade during cutting
- The saw blade receives external impact or alternating stress, leading to fatigue of the saw blade
- Knife head welding is not firm
- The cutting temperature of the saw blade is too high to exceed the melting point of the flux
Four, the knife head cracking
- The hardness of the metal bond of granite tool head is higher than that of the material being cut, which causes the saw blade to be hit by hammer during cutting
- The circular velocity of the saw blade is too high, and the saw blade is subjected to excessive impact force
- Crack of saw blade matrix
- The hardness of granite saw blade matrix is too high relative to the material being cut
- Excessive cutting force leads to the bending of the blade matrix
- The mechanical installation of the saw blade is not standard, causing the data blade to swing.
